I am happy to announce Making Choices for Godly Living has recently been published by Credo House Publishers. This is a reprint of my previous book – updated.
As Christians, do we honestly believe God works all things together for good? When going through the unwanted and unexpected events of life, do we believe God’s sovereign plan is for our benefit and His glory? Making Choices for Godly Living will help you examine your choices and challenge you in making those that please God.
In making those choices, it is important to consider that it is not about how we feel or how we think God should help us, but about what should be our Biblical response to those difficult circumstances. Though Joseph’s life was filled with interrupted and unexpected events (Genesis 37-50), his faith in the Lord stood strong. We can learn from his responses to trials and approach life with the expectation of God’s working, even when we do not understand what He is doing or how it fits into His sovereign plan. The believer is challenged to consider 15 choices gleaned from the Biblical narrative of Joseph’s life, which all rest on a commitment to the first choice: “I choose to accept that I am not in control – God is in control.” Joseph’s life serves as an example and model for believers in making Biblical choices and maintaining faithfulness in all life circumstances.
Making Choices for Godly Living is a great resource to help Christians facing challenging and difficult situations and for those wanting to grow in their faith. It has been designed to be useful in personal study, group Bible studies or classes, and in counseling.
